Cost of Scouting
Each group charges a fee (called subscriptions or subs) to cover the costs of running regular meetings – which covers venue hire, insurances and materials for activities. There are sometimes extra charges for special activities, camps and events. We try to keep our subs as low as possible so that anyone can come to Scouts.
Cost should never be a barrier to a young person participating in any scouting activity. If you're not sure who to speak to in your group, and would like us to pass on your details to the relevant persons so they can help you, please use this form.
If you are attending a district event, or a large event (such as a jamboree) as a district representative, please email firstname.lastname@example.org , to discuss how we can help with funding.
